I see books. I buy books. Some get read. Some go on my growing pile of TBR.
Whenever I am reading this series I'm never really sure how much I liked it. I like the characters well enough, but there is so much back story and secrets, that we don't seem to get much information.If Maxine's mother wants her to survive, why keep so much information from her? Same goes for the boys, her father and grandfather.It's frustrating.
