The only reason I gave this book a three, is because I only liked two out of four of the stories.I have never read anything by Michelle Rowen, and even though this story is part of her Nightshade series, I think it gave us enough backstory that it was able to stand on its own. It also made me want to read the Nightshade book.I have read all of the Lora Leigh 'breed' series, so this was not a departure for me. I was actually hesitant about reading this, because the last breed book I read left such a horrible taste in my mouth. However, this was a nice comeback. The other two authors, Jory Strong and Ava Gray, I have neither read any of their books, or heard of. I could not get into either of the stories, felt no connection to any of the characters, and just found them both long and boring.
